On June 17, 2023, GEM's 2023 Dragon Boat Festival gathering for families of overseas employees in QMB Park took place in GEM Jingmen Park. Prof. Xu Kaihua, Board Chairman of GEM, warmly received the representatives of families of overseas employees and hosted a banquet in acknowledgement of their support to GEM and its overseas employees.

In the afternoon, the representatives visited GEM Jingmen Park, feeling the intense production atmosphere, experiencing GEM's green concept of "Limited Resources, Unlimited Recycling", and learning about GEM's brilliant achievements in the development of new energy materials and urban mining.

Then, Lu Xijin, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of GEM; and Ma Lin, Rotating Director of the Administrative Committee of GEM Jingmen Park, held talks with the representatives, introducing the construction, development and management mode of QMB Park, soliciting their opinions and suggestions for GEM, inquiring about their daily life, and solving their worries including medical care for the elderly and child schooling. The representatives learned about the working and living environment of their loved ones in QMB Park through videos and pictures, thanked GEM for creating comfortable and convenient conditions for them, and voiced continuing support to them!

In the evening, the representatives made sticky rice dumplings and played games with their loved ones via video link, and attended a banquet along with Chairman Xu Kaihua. Amid laugher and cheer, they celebrated the Dragon Festival together.

It was because families of overseas employees played the role of "pillar" in family life that overseas employees could overcome various difficulties, concentrate on work and fight hard, Chairman Xu Kaihua noted. At last, he had a photo with the representatives, expressed gratitude for their silent contributions, and wished them peace, good health and family happiness in the Dragon Boat Festival!

QMB Park has endured great hardships, helping GEM blaze a trail and go global. These achievements were inseparable from the painstaking efforts of GEM's numerous overseas employees, as well as the selfless dedication of their families. GEM will organize more impressive gatherings for families of overseas employees in Indonesia, build a communication platform, smooth the communication mechanism, solve worries for overseas employees and their families, and share its development achievements with them, so as to head into a brighter future together.
