On July 11, 2023, the 2023 list of Fortune China Top 500 Listed Companies was rolled out. GEM was ranked 425th on the list with revenues of 29.392 billion yuan in 2022.

Made by the world-renowned financial magazine - Fortune and China International Capital Corporation Limited, the list is based on the performance and achievements of the world's largest Chinese listed companies in the past year. The annual revenue threshold this year is close to 23.7 billion yuan.

As a pioneer in urban mining and a promoter of the global new energy industry, GEM went public in 2010 as the first urban mining company to be listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE), was listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange (SIX) as one of China's first green companies to access the market and successfully issued GDRs, creating a model for Chinese green enterprises to contribute Chinese solutions for the green development of Europe.

Amid the grim global economic situation in 2022, GEM enormously unleashed its production capacity, and achieved record revenues of 29.392 billion yuan, up 52.28% year on year and a record net profit of 1.296 billion yuan, up 40.4% year on year, forging into a new stage of "unleashing excessive production capacity and achieving substantial growth".
